Vitamin A is essential for the regulatory function of epithelial tissue; it aids cell growth and differentiation, inhibits collagen breakdown, promotes GAG synthesis, and thickens the dermis. Revise A is intended for clients who have undergone pigmentation balancing, age-management, and acne Skin Revision programs. This formula contains salicylic and lactic acids to promote slow cellular turnover, clear pores, and prevent pigmentation from resurfacing.

- Apply directly to cleansed skin in the evening before bed.
- Use 1-3 nights per week or as directed by your DMK Professional. No sprays or other products are used underneath or on top of Revise A.
FORMULA HIGHLIGHTS
Salicylic Acid — A lipid-soluble beta hydroxy acid that helps epidermal cells properly shed. Salicylic acid permeates the pores to clear infection, dead cell material, and oil impaction. It prevents acne by being anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, and antifungal. Because salicylic acid is lipophilic, it can visibly reduce enlarged pores.
Retinyl Palmitate — A type of vitamin A that is enzymatically converted to retinoic acid in the skin, but without the irritation potential. Vitamin A is critical for the long-term maintenance of healthy skin. It slows the mechanisms of aging by inhibiting collagen breakdown and MMPs, promoting glycosaminoglycan (GAG) synthesis, repairing photodamage, and facilitating collagen production. Topical application of Retinyl Palmitate speeds wound healing, smooths texture, reduces pigmentation, evens tone, boosts elasticity, and refines wrinkles.
Avena Sativa Kernel Flour (Oat) — Oat flour helps calm and protect inflamed skin conditions with antioxidant and photoprotective phenolic compounds. It also contains high levels of the immune-boosting polysaccharide beta-glucan, which increases the skin’s water holding capacity. This ingredient is a good source of B vitamins, vitamin E, proteins, fats, and minerals.
Lactic Acid — Naturally found in the body, lactic acid is a mild alpha-hydroxy acid (AHA) used for exfoliating, brightening, hydrating, and antimicrobial properties. It permeates the skin quickly to improve cell turnover, fibroblast proliferation, elastin quality, GAG concentrations, and collagen synthesis. As a result, signs of aging and pigmentation are revised.
Retinol — The vitamin A precursor to retinoic acid. Retinol helps restore vitamin A levels in damaged skin, boosts cell turnover, and helps reduce redundant cuticle. It also clears out congestion in follicles, improves texture, irregular pigmentation, and signs of aging. As with other vitamin A derivatives, retinol is antioxidant, inhibits MMPs, and strengthens the skin by thickening the dermis.
