- Apply to the body just after a shower to still-damp skin, or dampen hands as you massage into the skin to seal in added moisture.
FORMULA HIGHLIGHTS
Safflower, Sunflower, Sweet Almond & Jojoba Oils — Essential fatty acid and vitamin E-rich oils that permeate easily, restore barrier function, and provide skin conditioning, softening, antioxidant, and photoprotective properties.
Tremella Fuciformis Sporocarp Extract (Silver Ear/Snow Mushroom) — This unique mushroom is 400x more moisturizing than sodium hyaluronate. It softens, increases hydration, and plumps the skin to diminish the look of fine lines and wrinkles. Snow mushroom extract also increases superoxide dismutase (SOD) production, which defends against free radicals.
Tamarindus Indica Seed Gum (Tamarind) — A hydrating polysaccharide that increases the skin’s water-holding capacity. Tamarind is anti-inflammatory, cytoprotective, rich in antioxidants, and improves skin elasticity. It also contains concentrated phytonutrients, including ascorbic acid (vitamin C), lipids, magnesium, sodium, iron, calcium, and potassium.
Mentha Piperita Leaf Extract (Peppermint) — A cooling herb that contains menthol, making it mildly anesthetic to minor irritations. In addition, peppermint includes vitamins A and C, omega-3 fatty acids, potassium, magnesium, calcium, manganese, copper, and iron. This herb is a free radical scavenger and has antimicrobial and antifungal properties.
Sea Salt (Nigari) — A natural byproduct of sea salt that is rich in magnesium chloride. Nigari is easily assimilated in the body and required in over 300 biochemical reactions. It is used to clear out cellular waste and lessen oxidative stress. In addition, Nigari stimulates immune function, preserves the health of the cell, increases glutathione (antioxidant) levels, and slows down aging.
