FORMULA HIGHLIGHTS
Lactic Acid — Naturally found in the body, lactic acid is a mild alpha-hydroxy acid (AHA) used for exfoliating, brightening, hydrating, and antimicrobial properties. It permeates the skin quickly to improve cell turnover, fibroblast proliferation, elastin quality, GAG concentrations, and collagen synthesis. As a result, signs of aging and pigmentation are revised.
Glycolic Acid — An alpha-hydroxy acid (AHA) that quickly permeates the skin due to its small molecular size. Glycolic acid stimulates collagen synthesis, renews the surface, breaks up pigment, and brightens the skin. It clears extracellular buildup, pulls fluid into the epidermal cells, improves barrier function, softens the skin, reduces textural abnormalities and other signs of photoaging, and promotes cell turnover. Regular use increases dermal thickness, improves the extracellular matrix, and increases hyaluronic acid.
