Revitosin is one of DMK’s signature formulations, a vitamin A concentrated cream, and an essential component of Skin Revision treatment programs. Revitosin normalizes and regulates cellular proliferation, maturation, and desquamation. It helps break up pigmentation and renews cells and tissues for a more youthful appearance.
Vitamin A stimulates dermal activity within the fibroblasts, increasing the number of fibroblasts and their activity. This dual action reinforces the structures and improves the integrity and density of the skin’s underlying support system of collagen, elastin, and GAGs. Vitamin A is an antioxidant that reduces oxidative damage and stress to refine and restore vitality in the epidermis.
SUITED FOR
Prescribe for clients with sun damage, fine lines, premature aging, wrinkles, pigmentation, and scarring. In acneic skin, Revitosin’s vitamin A concentrations can help clear impaction, reduce inflammation, normalize cellular function, and prevent or reduce scars and PIH.

FORMULA HIGHLIGHTS
Oleic Acid — An omega-9 fatty acid that permeates the skin’s surface to replenish lost moisture and prevent TEWL. Oleic acid is an antioxidant-rich and anti- inflammatory oil that promotes wound healing and offsets free radical damage and oxidative stress. It also strengthens cell membranes, rebalances skin lipids, and soothes inflamed skin conditions.
Retinol — The vitamin A precursor to retinoic acid. Retinol helps restore vitamin A levels in damaged skin, boosts cell turnover, and helps reduce redundant cuticle. It also clears out congestion in follicles, improves texture, irregular pigmentation, and signs of aging. As with other vitamin A derivatives, retinol is antioxidant, inhibits MMPs, and strengthens the skin by thickening the dermis.
Retinyl Palmitate — A type of vitamin A that is enzymatically converted to retinoic acid in the skin, but without the irritation potential. Vitamin A is critical for the long-term maintenance of healthy skin. It slows the mechanisms of aging by inhibiting collagen breakdown and MMPs, promoting glycosaminoglycan (GAG) synthesis, repairing photodamage, and facilitating collagen production. Topical application of Retinyl Palmitate speeds wound healing, smooths texture, reduces pigmentation, evens tone, boosts elasticity, and refines wrinkles.
Simmondsia Chinensis Seed Oil (Jojoba) — Jojoba is an oil rich in fatty acids and waxy esters. It has some similarities to natural sebum (sebum is ~ 26% waxy esters) and works superficially to restore and reinforce barrier function. This ingredient is anti-inflammatory, emollient, and softening.
