Muscle banding 4 Months, 1 Week ago Karma: 0
Hi DMK Experts

I am turning 26 this year and I have been on DMK to help my rosacea problem and it has done so really well. I do notice a fine line on my nasal labiel and so I've started spot treatment with retinol A. I know that from the age of 25 skin starts to age... I currently go for enzyme treatments every 8 weeks. I was planning on going for a muscle banding treatment for my bday to exercise my facial muscles just like I do my body. Is it too soon to have such a treatment at my age?

HI Jennyshk,

Thank you for your enquiry and I hope you're having a great day~

Regarding treatments, as you have mentioned you are having treatments to treat your rosacea, correct me if I'm wrong. If you're having a bi-monthly treatment, I'm assuming you're very happy with your result and this is just more like a maintenance treatment for you? If yes, congrats and I'm happy to hear DMK has helped you. If no, then I would recommend you having fortnightly treatments until it is under control as having a treatment every 8 weeks will not help you achieve the result you're after.

There is really no set age nor time to start having muscle banding treatments.
Some young girls who don't look after their skin start having fine lines before they finish high school, so this really depend on your skin, not your age.

I would definitely recommend you start having these treatments as prevention is always better than cure. The earlier you start, the longer you'll look younger if you know what I mean.

As to how often you should have them done, I'm unable to tell you as I have not seen your skin. Your DMK technician will be able to assess your skin and determine what will be the best for you.

Good luck and thanks again for your enquiry!

Regards,
Amy
