We sat down with miss universe finalist and model, Wendi Lanham, 19, from Sydney.

Q1. Are you enjoying your new DMK regime? Do you have a favourite product?

A: I’m loving my new DMK regime, it’s easy to follow and makes my skin feel amazing! My favourite product would have to be the blemishing gel because you simply dab a small amount of the gel on a pimple and within 3 days it’s gone!

Q2. Tell us about your first DMK Treatment…

A: My first DMK treatment was nothing like what l’ve ever had before. My face mask was interesting as it set like concrete and I couldn’t move my face – but the heated bed, foot massage and lovely music was so relaxing I even feel asleep. It was amazing I couldn’t wait to go back.

Q3. Do you have any skin concerns? Has DMK helped with these?

A: My skin concern would have to be pimples. I’ve had them since 14 and have tried many products in the past that haven’t worked however DMK products are actually working! The redness form previous acne have started disappearing and I’m getting very few pimples now. I couldn’t be happier with the result.

Q4. Would you recommend DMK’s Klear Collection to your friends who suffer with breakouts?

A: Yes I would definitely recommend DMK Klear Collection to my friends who suffer with breakouts, in fact I already have, with a few friends now wanting to get a treatment because they have seen the improvement it has had on my skin.

Q5. How important is good skin to you?

A: Good skin is crucial to me, I always pride myself on good skin, hair and body. Good skin not only looks amazing but allows you to feel good about yourself, gives you confidence and is important long term.

Q6. How has the Miss Universe Australia experience helped you grow as a person?

A: The Miss Universe Australia experience has helped me grow so much as a person, not only am I now more strict on my food and exercise regime, I’ve also grown an interest in current issue of the world through preparing for the question and answer section of the pageant and have also learnt more about charities I’d love to work with in the future.

Q7. What would it mean to you to become Miss Universe Australia?

A: It would mean the world to me to become Miss Universe Australia. I believe this competition represents so many qualities that I see in myself. It will give me the chance to show Australia my bubbly and down to earth personality. We sat down with miss universe finalist, and competitive beach sprinter, Meaghan Slattery, 22, from Perth.

Megahn Slattery (WA)
A Physiotherapist by day, Meaghan is also a surf life saver.

Q1. Are you enjoying your new DMK regime? Do you have a favourite product?

A: I absolutely love my new regime. I love how balanced and “full” it makes my face feel. My favourite product so far has to be the combination of the biogen c creme combined with the herb & mineral mist – it’s an awesome concept and my skin is just drinking it up!

Q2. Tell us about your first DMK Treatment…

A: It was amazing and really enlightening to find out so much about my skin and how I can help it along in just one session! The Enzyme Masque was astonishing and the final product after the Quick Peel (heating masque) was the best my skin has ever felt. DMK is one of a kind.

Q3. Have you ever known anyone to have their confidence knocked down by acne?

A: What I had growing up was not “acne” by medical definition but it certainly felt like it to me. Being a late bloomer, I was heading into pimple town as everyone was leaving it. When you are doing everything you can to fit in as it is, I certainly experienced many a breakdown when the only thing I couldn’t hide was my breakouts!

Q4. Would you recommend DMK’s Klear Collection to your friends who suffer with breakouts?

A: Yes, my astonishing results had friends asking about the treatments the second I posted a photo to social media! I couldn’t say a bad thing about DMK and I think that no matter what the problem is, the staff who work for DMK could work out a way to help you.

Q5. How important is good skin to you?

A: For me, the search for good skin has been never-ending. I don’t know whether its our society, the magazines or just always trying to look “nice” that has made the idea of good skin desirable but the thought of having DMK help me bring out my own good skin is taking me beyond excitement! I think there is nothing more beautiful than a girl who can rock a totally natural look with a confident smile.

Q6. How has the Miss Universe Australia experience helped you grow as a person?

A: I entered the WA preliminary contest confused, shy and hidden about who I was. There was a part of me that knew I could do better – that’s what the Miss Universe competition has done. It has opened doors that I had forgotten how to open, as such, I am now confident in the fact that I’m coming into the national final the best version of myself I can be.

Q7. What would it mean to you to become Miss Universe Australia?

A: Knowing what it would be like to win the title of Miss Universe Australia is an experience that possibly I can never be explained till, and if, I was chosen to experience it. And the thought that I am a one in 30 chance of doing just that, is excitement no words can do justice. To the elderly people I have worked with as a physiotherapist, to my amazing family and friends, to myself and to the thousands of young girls I would then have the chance to inspire and support, winning the Miss Australia crown means more than I could have ever hoped!

We caught up with Byron Bay beach girl, Nina Hill, to see what she thinks of DMK and her miss universe experience so far.

Nina Hill

q1. Are you enjoying your new DMK regime? Do you have a favourite product?

I absolutely love my new DMK regime! It is very different from what I used to do with my skin but after my consultation with DMK and receiving my DMK enzyme facial I realised I wasn’t giving my skin the attention and care it deserved.
The feeling DMK leaves on my skin is something I have never been able to achieve with any other product.

q2. What was your first DMK treatment experience like? Have you ever had anything like it?

My first DMK treatment experience was heavenly!

My enzyme treatment was something I had never experienced before. And at first I must admit it was quite strange and a little uncomfortable as it tightened on my skin but the result was unbelievable! I learnt so much about what your skin does and how it reacts to certain things. I must admit I felt as though I had been neglecting my skin up until my DMK treatment/consultation.

q3. Do you have any skin concerns?

I have fairly oily skin so if my skin is blocked I can easily break out. I have to be careful when choosing which concealer, foundation or sun protection as it can lead to break outs if my skin can’t breathe well. I also have a very outdoors lifestyle. I surf and run a lot so I need to protect my skin from the harshness of the sun. Since using the DMK transdermal sunblock I have had great protection and no breakouts!

q4. Has using DMK helped/ changed your skin?

Yes definitely! It already feels so much softer and younger. After my consultation with DMK and my enzyme therapy treatment my friend picked me up and couldn’t believe how fresh and beautiful my skin looked without a drop of make up! She was so impressed she has now booked in for her fist DMK appointment.

q5. Have you ever known anyone to have his or her confidence knocked-down by acne?

Of course I think it’s something many can relate to. Breakouts are a common part of growing up but I had a close friend who was going through a really hard time in her life and with her depression came serious breakouts. The breakouts then just contributed to her feeling more down which in turn led to her taking prescription drugs to control the breakouts. This was a viscous cycle, as the drugs would have serious side effects that would leave her feeling down again. If I had of known about the DMK Klear Collection I would have recommended it in a heartbeat!

q6. How important is good skin to you?

It’s everything in relation to confidence and in turn confidence leads you to being the person you can be. You can have the perfect outfit and hairstyle but without clean clear skin the confidence just isn’t there.

q7. How has the Miss Universe Australia experience helped you grow as a person?

The Miss Universe Australia pageant has pushed me to grow as a person. I have had to do things I wouldn’t normally do. In order to do well in the competition I have had to push myself out of my comfort zone, and I believe that like any challenge in life good or bad you will grow from it. I have met so many amazing people and had the opportunity to succeed at something I never thought possible. The competition has taught me to believe in myself and stay positive throughout the whole experience.

It has taught me that if I am true to myself that I can achieve great things.
